Brown Glazed Antique Stoneware Miniature Boot and Shoe Zanesville planter which shined up someI bought this boot and shoe together and think they make a really wonderful pair, so am selling them together. I've searched a bunch and found similar ones described as late 19th century Rockingham glazed and as Bennington flint glazed, both referring to the brown glaze which originated at Rockingham Pottery in England and then was most famously employed at Bennington Pottery in Vermont. Whatever the case, the date seems about right, and they are
