I’d guess it dates from the 1960s and the painting itself is in very good condition
It would be great year round on the counter
and in fact he makes me think of Saint Francis in the wild
I don't think these detract from the overall beauty of this piece

As they should be, they are quite worn all over, with dings and scrapes and some dryness to the wood. In great structural shape and good for a spin, though also nice just on the shelf. Larger: 2 1 2" tall x 1 3 4" d. Smaller: 2" tall x 1 1 2" d.
