with a little roughness in a couple of spots around the edge and one dark stain on the inside of the bowl

Fat Lava era The vase is signed onI have so much to learn about textiles and weaving traditions, but I do think I am pretty good at recognizing beautiful pieces. This one is certainly that, finely woven of high quality cotton with a finish that gives it the feel of raw silk. The ground is predominately black, with an aubergine border and an array of patterns in yellow, white, green, blue and red the same on either side of the center.
