I'm a big fan of old Sapolin products to begin with (they sold little bottles of gold paint for Japanning in terrific dome-lidded turned wooden boxes that I always grab when I find them)
with two carved and painted figures comprising the totem pole at one end (I believe an owl at the top
Brass Impish Bearded Man Door Knocker shawl a mark found on CzechI'm not exactly sure the origins of this impish bearded character, who looks a bit Scandanavian to me, but certainly he makes a fun little door knocker, I believe intended for an interior door. Sure to keep unwanted visitors at bay! He's definitely got some years on him but is in great condition with a nice patina. 3 1 8" tall x 1 1 2" wide x 1" thick.
