A Canadian Second War Dieppe Commemorative Cross Auction Marine Corps AwardTwo piece construction, sterling silver, maker marked "CHRISTIAN" and marked "STER" (Sterling) on the reverse, obverse illustrating the bust of a Canadian soldier over a tank with the date "1942" below, with raised edges on the arms, reverse illustrating the coat of arms of Dieppe, France in the centre with multiple emanating rays on the arms, 36. 3 mm x 37 mm, clasp inscribed "DIEPPE" on its tri colour ribbon, light contact, near extremely fine.
