A Gloucestershire Regiment Helmet Plate, C.1890 certificate_of_authenticity the obverse medallion features aThree piece construction, in bronze gilt, insignia in white metal within the voided area, the surrounding disk inscribed "GLOUCESTERSHIRE" with crossed laurel branches at the bottom, the base featuring an open ended wreath of laurel leaves backed by a seven pointed multi rayed star and surmounted by the Victorian crown, measuring 110 mm (w) x 131. 5 mm (h), both lugs intact, the white metal insignia and disk held in place via two of its original three
