along with calloused feet

when the German assault on Reims was repulsed by the Allies and the German Army was forced to retreat behind the Marne

inscribed "FONDEE EN 1808" (Founded in 1808) below the lion and engraver marked "MASSONNET"

For Distinguished Foreigners Archive An SS-FM Membership Badge -Badge in bronze, multicolor enamel, without maker mark (as it should be), with 3 rivets on reverse, 32. 14mm(width) x 33. 81mm(height), weighs 13. 4 grams; this is a very scarce original example but has been buried ground dug, with some chipping to enamels, discoloration, but just very tiny chipping to enamels; in good condition.
