Finished with traditional hanao (fabric straps) these charming sandals would have been used for casual everyday wear in good weather. This pair, with cherry wood veneer, are from the city of Kakunodate in Akita prefecture and are unused. All our vintage items are hand sourced in Japan exclusively for the maker.
