The crown features a raised dia stamped magnetic comb secured in place with rivets fastened at the three, six, nine, and twelve oclock positions. Fastened to the peak of the helmet is a magnetic metal insignia consisting of a stylized grenade, indicative of infantry personnel. The grenade bears raised initials
