A First World War Independence Plaque 1914 Auction Archive with light to moderate lossConstructed of a bronze alloy with wood, consisting of a relief bearing a central rising sun overlaid by a raised number 14, flanked by a soldier of the Czechoslovak Legion, and topped by an inscription of SVOBOE NA STR (FREEDOM TO GUARD), set within a multi piece dark wooden frame, the lower obverse of the relief bearing an illegible designers mark, measuring 260 mm (w) x 80 mm (w) x 225 mm (h), with some scratching and oxidation evident to the wood
