Born in Schleswig on 16 July 1923, Bhme served with the 8th SS Cavalry Division Florian Geyer. The last confirmed contact with him was in Budapest in December 1944. The request for information was filed by Christian Bhme, who is presumably his father. It features a clear photo of Bhme wearing a Waffen SS overseas
