San Marino, Republic. A Military Merit Medal, III Class Bronze Grade visually-hidden Archer proceeded to England for(Medaglia al merito militare). Instituted in 1860. In bronze, engraver marked "S. J" (Stefano Johnson of Milan) and inscribed "ANZIANITA" (Seniority) on the reverse, measuring 32. 2 mm (w) x 35. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, exhibiting spotting and light contact overall, without ribbon, better than very fine.
