Frankfurt, City State. A Frankfurt 25-Year Faithful Service Cross GTRexclude ornate locking clip and chain(Dienstauszeichnung fr 25 Jahre). Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a central Frankfurt style eagle, with an inscription of XXV JAHRE TREUE DIENSTE, the reverse with a central date of 1840, unmarked, measuring 26. 31 mm (w) x 30. 06 mm (h), in very fine condition.
