Broad inscribed cartouche around the eagle reading, in Cyrillic and exactly as on the piece: 1850 1880 or "Royal Serbian Military Academy 18501880" in English. Plain reverse with long vertical pin and catch. Approx. 57 44 mm. Deep, even patina; minor edge wear; straight, functional hardware. Instituted in 1880 under
