Germany, Feuerschutzpolizei. An Em/Nco’s Visored Field Cap Archive 1884 in Corwen(Feuerschutzpolizei Einheitsfeldmtze). A well preserved Feuerschutzpolizei EM NCOs visored field cap, constructed of dark blue wool twill. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panels, gently scalloped at the front, offering optional ear and neck protection to the wearer. When not in use, the panels are rolled up and secured in place with two blackened magnetic metal buttons on the right flap meeting an equal number of reinforced buttonholes
