and bears a handwritten owner’s name and additional black ink mark that appears to read “MÜNSTER 1914”

Constructed of dark grey wool the obverse bearing a machine embroidered two tone silver grey oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 71 mm (w) x 64 mm (h), in uniform removed and extremely fine condition.
