Mongolia, People’s Republic. An Order of the Polar Star, Type III with Cyrillic Script, Screwback Variant, c. 1940 GTRexclude and the use of silver(Altan Gadas Odon ). Instituted in 1936. A six pointed silver star of multi piece construction, with red, white, yellow, and ultramarine blue enamels, screwback variant with matching backing plate, numbered 11125 on the reverse, measuring 47. 1 mm (w) x 54. 4 mm (l), weighing 62. 50 grams, with the enamels very well preserved, in near extremely fine condition.
