Germany, Wehrmacht. A Kurland Cuff Title Hold with postcard-style backer(rmelband Kurland). Constructed of a silver grey cotton twill, the obverse trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with machine embroidered black tresses, bearing a central black inscription of KURLAND, flanked on the left by a shield bearing the coat of arms of the Teutonic Order (Hochmeisterkreuz) and on the right by a shield bearing the coat of arms of Kurland, unmarked, measuring 37 mm (w) x 240 mm (l), a long style second type in extremely
