Germany, Heer. An Officer’s Sabre certificate_of_authenticity and a rounded catch(Heer Offizierssbel). An exceptionally well preserved Heer Officers sabre, measuring 98 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features an 85 cm long, nickel plated, curved magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and a fuller running approximately two thirds of the length of each side. The blade is unmarked and sits securely within a gilded brass hilt complete with a hand guard, and with an intact black leather buffer pad covering
