In die stuck bronze, featuring a central shield marked DE surrounded by laurel and oak leaf wreath, reverse with initials and date 24Y28 ABRIL 1840, measures 27. 6mm in diameter, weighs 11. 5 grams, worn on original red ribbon, notable edge knocks, dark patina, ribbon slightly frayed at ends, wear consistent with age, in near very fine condition.
