Germany, Wehrmacht. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, First Pattern Province of China dated to late 1917 and(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber 1. Modell). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath with scalloped edges, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 38. 52 mm (w) x 44. 40 mm(h), weighing 8. 5 grams, a
