It consists of two flats approximately 3. 93" x 3 4" on opposite sides in 400 grit and 600 grit. The plate holds two rods 600 grit rods a 6mm x 100mm and a 12mm x 100mm rod. Both held in place by strong magnets that allow easy storage on any iron or steel surface. Weve sharpened just about everything on this sharpener,
