Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of an oval oak laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, surrounding a depiction of a Taube style monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and narrow tapering pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked C. E. JUNCKER, BERLIN, above a crescent indicating German
