A Hitch Thomas Banks London 30th January 1963'A Hitch', 1874. The traffic manager receives with annoyance the station master's report. There was growing disquiet at the number of accidents that happened each year on Britain's railway network. Many of these were blamed on inadequate investment in signalling and other necessities.
