A First War period German brooch constructed of a gilded piece of an artillery shell driving band, featuring a branches of oak leaves, the reverse presents a horizontal pinback, measures 35 mm (w) x 13 mm (h), with an Iron Cross suspended below, measures 11 mm (w) x 12 mm (h), and in overall near extremely fine condition.
