Hesse, Grand Duchy. A Hesse Patriotic Badge By W. Sauerwein Newly Listed 1854-1918 Issue(Patriotisches Abzeichen). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked W. SAUERWEIN, MAINZ, measuring 36 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
