Germany, Third Reich. A Horse Driver’s Badge, Silver Grade, By Steinhauer & Lück Auction mounted as worn for button(Deutsche Fahrer Abzeichen). An oval badge in silvered zink, consisting of a man driving a chariot pulled by two horses, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath with a Roman letter R in a circle at the base, the reverse presents a vertical pinback, with a barrel hinge and flat wire catch, maker marked STEINHAUER & LCK, LDENSCHEID, measuring 40. 39 mm (w) x 51. 14 mm (h), and in near very fine condition.
