A rare and very well preserved Luftwaffe Officers sword, measuring 85 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 64 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains unspoiled factory sharpening to the edges and tip. A fuller runs approximately half of the length of each side of the blade. The reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of E. & F. HRSTER, SOLINGEN, circumscribing the firms
