It states that radio operator Herbert Rentzsch of the 9th Company of Luftgau Signals Regiment 8 was awarded the Sudetenland Medal. The document is dated to Breslau (modern day Wrocaw, southwestern Poland) on August 30, 1939. It is signed on behalf of Commander of Luftgau 8, Major General Waber, by Rentzschs Regiment Commander of Major rank, his name is indecipherable.
