Constructed of silvered bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse bearing a central black enameled shield defaced by a silvered Totenkopf (indicating veterans of the Freikorps campaign in the Baltic region), surrounded by a red enameled border bearing a gilt inscription of KAMERADSCHAFT FREIKORPS KMPFER GOTHA (GOTHA COMRADES ASSOCIATION OF FREIKORPS FIGHTERS), unmarked, measuring 16. 58
