A Wound Badge constructed of zink, the obverse depicts a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika on top of crossed swords over a pebbled field with a laurel branch wreath, reverse marked 28 for Eugen Schmidthussler, reverse presents a vertical pinback, measuring 36. 41 mm (w) x 43. 82 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
