A Fine Set of Scots Guards Epaulettes, by Marshall & Aitken, Edinburgh Auction Archive 5 cm (w) x 1Large, decorative stiff framed epaulettes, the uppers in very fine silvered copper wire forming a series of rectangles in a chequered pattern, each rectangle created by ten strands of wire, with two strands separating each of the rectangles and overlapping the adjoining rectangle, with a very smooth finish overall. The outer edge is trimmed in a single raised row of angled silver coloured rolled wire on the edges of the protruding spine, flanked by a
