Caol Ila 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky size-700ml NO SUGAR ADDED and GLUTENNose: A fresh, maritime character: sea spray, wet seaweed or kelp, green herbs. Underpinning that is a light peat smoke and a hint of citrus zest (lemon or lime). With time a faint vanilla or almond oil sheen appears. Palate: Medium bodied, smooth and relatively light for an Islay: starts sweet (vanilla, mild toffee), moves into salty mineral brine character and gently smoky peat. Citrus elements (lemon peel) and a touch of pepper or spice appear.
