Spain, Franco Period. A Medal of the Old Guard visually-hidden constructed of light-brown cotton(Medalla de la Vieja Guardia). Instituted in 1942. In bronze with black and green enamels, reverse engraved "Exp. No 1437 MANUEL RAMON DE LA MAZA SAINZ DE LA FUENTE 1934", measuring 37. 2 mm (w) x 43. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, scattered chipping evident in the green enamels, replacement incorrect ribbon, near extremely fine.
