Vatican, Papel State. An Order of St. Sylvester and of the Golden Spur, II Class Commander Newly Listed measuring 210 mm x 43(Ordine die San Silvestro e dello Speron d'Oro). Instituted in 1841. Type II (1905 on). Three piece construction, in silver with blue and white enamels, unmarked, measuring 58. 5 mm (w) x 59. 2 mm (h), chipping and crazing evident in the blue enamels around the saint's head on the obverse centrepiece, chipping present in the white enamels on both points of the arm at 9 o'clock on both sides, along with crazing on the left point of the arm at 6 o'clock
