The shoulders are both adorned with sew on shoulder boards in the rank of Senior Lieutenant Oberleutnant, constructed of four strands of fine silver aluminum embroidered Russian braid in a U shape, with a single gilt metal (magnetic) rank pip, and the numeral 30 in gilt numbers fastened to each shoulder
