Germany, Luftwaffe. A Late War Glider Pilot Badge Archive marked Scully - Montreal(Segelflugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a Luftwaffe eagle in mid flight, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 50. 90 mm (w) x 55. 66 mm (h), weighing 21. 6 grams, a late war example with a soldered eagle and loss of silver finish, in overall near extremely
