Constructed of a weather hardened red cotton twill base, bearing a double sided black and white dyed Nordic Cross, overlaid by an off centre white disc bearing a black mobile swastika, the hoist edge reinforced with a white cotton border featuring a hollow channel through which is looped an original rope for suspension, the hoist edge stamped with size dimensions of 60 X 90 (centimeters), a manufacture date of 4 42 (April 1942),
