Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and wreathed inscription of KRIEGER VERDIENST (WARRIOR MERIT), the reverse bearing the monogram of King Wilhelm I, unmarked, measuring 25. 03 mm in diameter, weighing 8. 1 grams, in extremely fine condition.
