HESTER. 4 CAN: INF:); War and Victory Medals, (11491 PTE. J. HESTER. 4 CAN. INF:). Naming is impressed, very fine. Footnote: John Hester was born on 11th July 1883 in Govan, Scotland. He joined the CEF on 22nd September 1914 having previously served in the 91st A & S Highlanders. He was Killed in Action on 26th March 1917 and is buried in Zouave Valley Cemetery
