In silver, Paris Mint marked "1 ARGENT" (silver) flanked by dual cornucopias on the edge, obverse illustrating the left facing bust of Alsacienne in traditional dress, inscribed "ALSACE" to the left and "1870 1914" to the right of the bust, engraver marked "G. PRUDHOMME" (Georges Henri Prudhomme, 1873 1947), reverse with a view of Strasbourg Cathedral, a house in the right foreground with storks nesting on the
