An Italian Youth Of The Lictor (Gil) Overseas Cap Archive consisting of a silvered zinkAn extremely well preserved Italian Youth of the Lictor (GIL) overseas cap, constructed of black wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side panels, secured in place by dual rows of machine stitching on each side. Stitched onto the peak of the cap is a GIL insignia, constructed of silvered bronze, consisting of a fasces overlaid by a sword and shield, the latter bearing raised initials GIL. The insignia measures 30 mm (w) x 55 mm (h). The
