Belt Buckle Of The Romanian Youth Organization "Straja Tarii" Hold Royal Naval Reserve LBuckle in patinated bronze, central round panel measures 50mm, featuring Romanian Coat of Arms, in near mint condition. Footnote: this yourth organization was established in 1935 by King Carol II, and was modeled on German and Italian youth organizations of the same period. All boys aged 7 to 18 and all girls between 7 and 21 were supposed to join. The members used the Roman salute as greeting.
