German Cross In Gold Newly Listed Five bars: CAPE COLONYIn silvered and gilded tombac, fine quality, mint condition. These (denazified) awards were issued by the Federal Republic of Germany in 1957 for Veterans wear (as WWII awards were not allowed for wear) and awarded only to the German Veterans entitled to such awards during the War; production of these awards ceased in 1986.
