Germany, SS. A First Pattern Visor Cap Totenkopf Insignia consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac intact enamels on the wings(SS Mtzenabzeichen). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of a first pattern, Danziger style, jawless Totenkopf, the reverse retaining one of two attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 31. 10 mm (w) x 28. 00 mm (h), weighing 3. 4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
