Japan, Empire. An Order Of The Rising Sun, III Class C.1930 Hold Engraved on reverse (L(). Instituted in 1875 by Emperor Meiji of Japan. 1875 2003 issue. In silver, an outstanding enameled white silver framed symbol of the Rising Sun, featuring a fine central red glass cabochon, with double sided design, suspension featuring nicely enameled green and purple symbol of the Paulownia Flowers, measuring 56. 67 mm (w) x 87. 15 mm (h inclusive suspension and its integral ring), with chipping enamels on the 12 oclock ray, suspension with minor
