The picture postcard shows two officers of indeterminate general rank, presumably waiting for a parade or a similar function. The one on the right is highly decorated, the only distinguishable badges are the Iron Cross 1st Class (1914) and a Wound Badge. The picture was taken in Wismar (northern Germany). The reverse is unused.
