A Sapper Regiment Badge, C.1919 Auction and edged with red waffenfarbeA Maltese cross of silvered bronze and multi coloured enamels, the obverse centre bears K 1919 superimposed on a shield of red and white enamels, on top is a rising sun with rays and an axe and shovel, the arms of the cross are white enamel and the 9, 12, and 3 oclock arms each bear a single star, the reverse is plain and shows the attachment prongs of the obverse centre, with a screwback and plain plate, measuring 48. 83 mm, very fine.
