A War Cross for Foreign Operational Theaters (Croix de guerre des Thtres doprations extrieurs). Instituted April 30th, 1921. A bronze Cross Patte with straight arms and crossed swords through the center of the cross, the obverse with a circular medallion bearing the effigy of the Republic (Marianne) wearing a cap decorated with a laurel wreath, surrounded by a ring bearing the legend
