An unissued Wehrmacht tropical field gun barrel cover, constructed of an olive drab cotton based canvas cylinder, with the tip completing in a khaki tan twill cover, the rim with a hollow channel through which is looped a grey cotton drawstring emanating from both ends to tie together for a secure fixture to the barrel, unmarked, measuring 254 mm (w) x 605 mm (l) when folded flat, in near mint condition.
